At Buehler’s, we are committed to keeping our customers and employees safe.  With that in mind, we have tasked a team of employees to meet regularly and closely monitor the current situation with Coronavirus or COVID-19.  The team is monitoring all CDC and WHO communication and working with local, state and federal agencies as well as our suppliers, industry share groups, the Ohio Grocer’s Association and the National Grocer’s Association to gain a clear understanding of virus control procedures. Any and all good ideas and best practices are considered and implemented quickly by our team.

Our company has a long history of protecting customers by practicing safe sanitation procedures. Many of our employees working in key areas have received certified training through the ServSafe Food and Beverage safety training program. Employees also practice proper use of gloves and proper handwashing techniques. It is our priority to make sure our employees are in compliance with these guidelines. We have also implemented additional safety measures including discontinuing the use of self-serve demos and increased sanitation of surfaces throughout the store. One such example is our wiping down of shopping cart handles frequently throughout the day.

Buehler’s is committed to the safety and well-being of our employees. We are encouraging sick employees to stay home. We are also providing them with up to date information about the virus and resources to better understand personal time off benefits, short term disability rules and related HR policies. Through our online Dayforce System, we are able to communicate with video daily to all our employees.   

We are working diligently with our suppliers to stay in-stock on the products that are most important to you. We will continue to work around the clock to provide customers with key items including pantry stock-up essentials and cleaning supplies.
