Buehler’s Fresh Foods Named Retail Business of the Year in Ashland

Buehler’s Fresh Foods was selected “Retail Business of the Year” by the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce. The announcement was made at the Chamber’s Annual Member Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the John C. Myers Convocation Center, Ashland University. The Annual Member Awards are open to any Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce member. Nominations come from the community at large. Judging Committee criteria is based on the following: business performance and standing, customer service strategies and practices, community involvement, and promotion of Ashland County and surrounding areas.

Buehler’s in Ashland first opened at their present Sugarbush Drive location in 2001. In addition to offering the freshest quality produce, meat, seafood, and deli foods, Buehler’s features the Main Street Grill (a full-service restaurant), Scenic River Coffee Co., Floral Shoppe, and Ritzman Pharmacy. The State Liquor Agency Store opened last year, and is surrounded by an expanded Wine and Beer Department.
